Dark Tanning Lotion
Everyone seems to want a tan these days, especially in the summer. However, we also want to protect our skin. We hear all of this information about how sun exposure is bad for us, yet we’re equally intrigued by the fact that so many people think tanned skin is more attractive. It is an odd phenomenon.
When you go to the drug store and you’re looking for ways to obtain or improve your tan, and improve your chances for healthy skin, you will find there are many options. You can buy a sun screen with spf as high as 80 now, if not more, and when you put it on you’ll feel like nothing can get through to your skin.
You could choose a lesser SPF with hopes of protecting and tanning, or you can use a tanning oil with little or no spf. There are also dark tanning lotions. Some offer spf, while others do not. While it is not recommended that you go out into the sun with 0 SPF, a dark tanning lotion with an SPF of at least 8 could help you achieve a dark tan while also protecting your skin.
Just remember that with a dark tanning lotion, you cannot stay out in the sun as long as you would be able to stay out in the sun if you were using a sun screen that had a high spf. If you go into the water or sweat with a dark tanning lotion on, you should re-apply immediately.
